The Week Behind (including a leg that dragged)
Oh man… what a week. It’s 4 in the morning on Friday and I am still tense, even though I don’t have anything to go to tomorrow (well, except my geology class but my professor went out of the way to tell us that there won’t be a quiz in order to allow us to skip this one).
I’ve had 5 exams in the last 10 days, most of them on the same days. I’ve also worked every single weekday at the paper and even on those day’s that I did not write I edited, which meant I did some heavy rewriting.
And then there was my leg. Over the last couple of days I have had some weird cramps in my left leg’s calf. It started Tuesday with some spasms and ended last night and today with it completely tensing up. I could hardly put my weight on it and kept hobbling around the newsroom in a very undignified fashion.
But now all is well. I have had some drinks and have nothing due in the next three days (somehow that still has to sink in) so I can do whatever I want. Maybe I’ll watch the two and a half season’s of Deep Space Nine that I bought on DVD months ago but still didn’t have time to watch.
Or maybe I’ll just sleep, only to wake up to watch TV, eat and have long baths while listening to my iPod. And of course I’ll go to the release of Panther later today.
