troubled Bush
BBC World has this quote from President George W. Bush on the gay weddings currently goign on is San Francisco:
“I’m troubled by what I’ve seen,” he added. “People need to be involved with this decision. Marriage ought to be defined by the people not by the courts, and I’m watching it carefully.” link
I would say if thousands of people get married in a matter of days the people have spoken. It is after all people, real actual breathing human beings, that are getting married, not courts. And if two people that have been together for 51 years as a couple finally get hitched (link) it is wrong, but if two people that have just met each other can get married any time, and as often as they want, maybe we need a little more “wrong” in the world.
